The Smyle Mouse™ is the next generation in head mouse assistive technology. It includes traditional head mouse functions as well as a face gesture based clicker and a dwell clicker, all bundled together in one convenient software package. It allows complete hands-free and voice-free mouse control of devices running Microsoft Windows® 7 or above.
Smyle Mouse provides hands-free computer access to people with dexterity difficulties due to conditions such as Spinal Cord Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injury, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Stroke, Arthritis, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis and other conditions. Complete mouse control can be achieved via gentle head motions and simple facial expressions such as smiles. The head motions and facial expressions are captured by a regular webcam; no fancy 3D or infrared cameras required.
