Duluth Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired
The Lighthouse Center for Vision Loss is a local, independent 501c3 nonprofit that has been serving the Northland for nearly 100 years. Today we provide training and other services to 1,500 individuals with vision loss each year. We serve youth, working-age adults and seniors through services provided here at our center, in the home or at the workplace. We offer training in daily living skills, orientation and mobility, technology, braille and adaptive leisure. Other services include our support groups, the Twin Ports Low Vision Store and the Twin Ports News of the Air radio station.
